When I try to power on my Cubietruck with a 2.5" SATA HDD connected, the red power led comes on for a few seconds and then powers off. Everything works fine if I disconnect the 2.5" SATA HDD. What could be the problem?

if I just connect the 5V cable, I am able to boot. it is only after i connect the SATA cable that I am not able to boot
