<mikjaer> Are this project still alive? I see tha newest newsentry are from 2012 on the webpage?
<mikjaer> <phil@discferret.com>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual
<cr1901_modern> mikjaer: Well philpem is still around and answers qs about the project, but doesn't appear to be online right now.
<cr1901_modern> He's also on hellsi- err, Twitter
<mikjaer> Okay, so whats the status of the project? Is it posible to get a board? are there working software? Are you in need of any kind of contributions? :)
<cr1901_modern> Foone was interested in getting a run of boards going, but I'm not sure what the status of that is
<cr1901_modern> I would say status is in general "on hiatus, but hardly dead". If you stick around, ppl will respond to you
<cr1901_modern> My sleep schedule is screwed, hence why I'm up
<mikjaer> Im in Danmark, on lunchbreak know
<mikjaer> if i wasn't up my employer would be very unhappy with me :P
<mikjaer> I work a lot with retrostuff, i have a small youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/retrocomputingwithmike
<mikjaer> and i have actually been considering to start a project more or less like this, because we lack a good floppy-solution for modern computers.
<cr1901_modern> There's a few ppl working on low-cost floppy solutions... there's one that runs on a Cypress dev kit that I forget its name
<cr1901_modern> whitequark's Glasgow project (she's not in the room atm) can also read floppies to be processed later on the computer
<cr1901_modern> I reached out to philpem, we'll see what happens
<mikjaer> I actually ordered a cypress dev kit
<mikjaer> i was considering writing a linux floppy driver for it
