Hey guys, I need help with samba on libreelec 8.2. I can't manage to recording on libreelec's folders. I browse the home folders successfully.

Isn't invidous just another frontend for youtube which sends only necessary data to google?

same counts for "newpipe" I guess which is just another youtube client. I'm not sure how the YouTube add-on is developed. Best is to ask the specific dev in question

Since libreelec has libre in it's name, I'd say it would be a good idea to have a libre youtube frontend for it.

youtube addon got a really nice development momentum recently, everything works as it should including 4K support etc. google api is used to interact with google youtube services under the hood
