Hello
<sam_wilson75>
I tell you I have a tanix tx5 max (S905x2) and I am doing tests with libreelec. And I can not get ethernet to work, I've tried different dtb without success. The ethernet chip (realtek rRTL8211F) and its modulator (SG24002)
<sam_wilson75>
The problem that libreelec detects the ethernet, since it indicates it with a dmesg. But it does not get ip from dhcp and even if you put it manually it does not work.

sam_wilson50 share dmesg and the name of the device-tree you're using
<sam_wilson50>
That I had already reported in the forum. '=D
<sam_wilson50>
All dtb, I do the same with both the balbes build and the test.libreelec.com

ahh.. forum
<chewitt>
I don't read it much these days

too many whiny demanding people :)

I want to restructure the x96max dts into something more generic that can be repurposed and more easily supports generic box devices
<chewitt>
but tracking down some 5.2 kernel issues comes first, as i'd like to get that bump out of the way
<sam_wilson50>
ok, while I'm getting ready with an ethernet usb.
<sam_wilson50>
By the way, one doubt that I have, I have a wifi usb that works well in the nigthly of the allwinner H3 (beelink x2). But it does not work on the s905x2 (tanix tx5 max) this wifi usb. The chip that has wifi is mediatek MT7612.

Both uses a compilation based on the mainline.

one of the team was making accusations about the VIM3 dtb the other night .. traced to an ethernet "doubler" that gave a shitty connection
