<psydread> I am trying to get graphics acceleration to work on my Orange Pi Win Plus running fully updated Debian Sid with Mesa 20.0.x and compiled 5.6.2 with the lima kernel module and other drivers a few days ago to use the hardware to the fullest, but it still doesn't appear to work for some reason
<psydread> is there anything I would have to change or configure?
<MoeIcenowy> psydread: do you have /dev/dri/card0 and /dev/dri/card1 ?
<psydread> MoeIcenowy: I do and my user is also in the video group

<anarsoul> psydread: how do you tell that it doesn't work?
<psydread> anarsoul, by running glxinfo and looking at its output and also at /var/log/Xorg.0.log and previously also by running a 3D game such as Supertuxkart. I haven't tried the latter today yet, but I can do it now
<anarsoul> check what's wrong in Xorg.0.log?
<psydread> I already did
<psydread> do you want me to put the output in a pastebin?
<psydread> it complains about sun4i-drm mainly

<psydread> the system just rebooted itself so I have to log in and collect the files
<anarsoul> [ 47.514] (II) modeset(0): glamor X acceleration enabled on Mali400
<anarsoul> looks good to me
<anarsoul> and this "libGL error: failed to load driver: sun4i-drm" doesn't look good
<anarsoul> you need to figure out why it failed to load the driver
<anarsoul> this one: "[ 48.226] (EE) AIGLX error: sun4i-drm does not export required DRI extension" should be fixed by https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/xorg/xserver/-/commit/b56e501092169a9c0a60663d832ee71898a8bc4b
<psydread> I will have a look at rebuilding it
<psydread> that is my kernel config
<anarsoul> your kernel config is fine, xorg-server loads driver properly
<anarsoul> but not glxinfo
<anarsoul> so check what's going wrong there
<anarsoul> btw, you also need to add your user to 'render' group
<psydread> ok, I will do that
