<anarsoul> macc24: run glmark?
<anarsoul> it's faster than sw rendering for sure :)
<macc24> anarsoul: well i don't have mali400 board near me
<anarsoul> I guess my question is with what you're going to compare it
<anarsoul> also it's gonna be quite different on different boards
<macc24> hmm, a mali t760mp4 and intel gma 950?
<anarsoul> there can easily be 2-3x difference between different boards
<anarsoul> it all depends on memory throughput, GPU clock and number of PP cores
<anarsoul> mali400 is more advanced than gma950
<macc24> i think it would be a cubieboard2
<anarsoul> I don't have that
<anarsoul> I do have an old laptop with gma950 though
<anarsoul> and pine64
<anarsoul> and rock64
<anarsoul> I'd expect mali450 in rock64 to be faster than mali400 in pine64
<macc24> and i have a rk3288 laptop
<anarsoul> but mostly that's gonna be comparison of memory bandwidth of all devices
<anarsoul> whichever has faster memory will win
<anarsoul> mali4x0 bottleneck is memory bandwidth, that's why ARM added AFBC (framebuffer compression) in midgard
<anarsoul> and some other smart techniques to reduce memory bandwidth usage
<macc24> okay
