<rellla> howcan i set the default gpu governor?
<rellla> in kernel config?
<chewitt> rellla currently lima is hard-coded for DEVFREQ_GOV_SIMPLE_ONDEMAND
<chewitt> I have that because running Kodi it never (ever) seems to shift from the base freq to higher
<chewitt> and since panfrost/lima both have near-identical code for devfreq it should be possible to copy/paste
<chewitt> if someone beats me to doing it and testing it .. please upstream it :)
<chewitt> the change works well for me with panfrost

<chewitt> using the same upthreshold values as panfrost still gives sluggish menu scrolling in Kodi
<chewitt> reducing them a bit improves
<chewitt> I'll test a bit further before sending upstrem
