#limadriver may be better, since "tech companies/projects co-opting names of places and then preventing residents of those places from using the name in technology things" has bad optics (for one example, see the recent dispute between Amazon-the-tech-behemoth and the people of Amazon-the-region regarding the .amazon TLD). Using the longer channel name on OFTC could help avoid conflicts and may be a better

option long-term, especially since documentation now needs to be updated anyways to point to the new network. Also, using #limadriver could help avoid confusion for anyone who doesn't first read the channel topic.
