<sheepman> hi all, got a strange problem with my S912 SoC. Any armbian build I try that uses kernel v3 ethernet works fine, but with any that uses kernel v4 the ethernet stalls under high load (it has gigabit ethernet btw). Any clues or help?
<sheepman> RTL8211F chipset btw

<sheepman> feels like it's related to amlogic,tx-delay-ns but a value on 0,2,4,6 doesn't fix it. In fact anything above 2 makes it worse.
<sheepman> also although the documentation says only values 0,2,4,6 are valid it seems to accept others too
<sheepman> but i can't find anything that fixes it, improves it a little but not fixes it
<sheepman> under load tx just dies, I kill it quickly by just running iperf3 -s then firing some packets at it. Takes between 1-7 seconds to die depending on what tx-delay-ns value i use so far
