<xdarklight>
there's some strange fallout in mainline currently: Odroid-C1 doesn't see it's SD card anymore
<xdarklight>
git bisect'ing currently...
<xdarklight>
strangely Odroid-C2 is not affected according to kernelci
<xdarklight>
Odroid-C2 is affected, but it's mmc1 there instead of mmc0
<brads>
xdarklight: I have sd issues on Odroid-C2 also, cards only detected sometimes and when they are I have IO errors or timeouts. emmc is fine.
<brads>
though I had a hardware issue
<xdarklight>
brads: on mainline (torvalds master branch)?
<brads>
its 4.20-rc6
<xdarklight>
that issue I'm chasing (I'm actually about to send a fix) only exists after the merge of the gpio tree into torvalds' git master last night (European time)
<xdarklight>
and it means that the SD card is *never* detected
<brads>
I have some cards which are detected *sometimes* but they fail shortly afterwards
<xdarklight>
OK that's a different issue - and unfortunately it sounds like a hardware problem :/
<brads>
ok thanks was thinking it was hardware
