<Xogium> any news on odroid c2 with eMMC and kernel 5.x ? Just curious to know if the state evolved and if I could upgrade safely, and to which kernel version I should upgrade to

<xdarklight> narmstrong: khilman: can you do me a favor and check the schematics of a G12A board with external PHY. I would like to know where the reference boards route the RGMII PHY interrupt to
<xdarklight> I don't seem to have any luck with GPIOZ_15 on my X96 Max
<xdarklight> (GPIOZ_15 is what Odroid-N2 uses)
<narmstrong> xdarklight: afaik the gpio irq patch hasn’t been applied for G12a

<xdarklight> narmstrong: yep, I just re-sent that to tick that box :)
<xdarklight> GPIO IRQ seems to work for me, but GPIOZ_15 seems to change between LOW and HIGH which triggers an IRQ

<narmstrong> xdarklight oh ok sorry i understand now... I’ll have a look at the ref design schematics but not before Tuesday :-/
<xdarklight> narmstrong: great, thank you in advance! I assume not too many boards will suffer from the PHY status polling until then... ;)
<Xogium> anyone knows the status of odroid c2 and kernel 5.1 regarding eMMC ?
<xdarklight> Xogium: Jerome successfully tested HS200 on Odroid-C2 with patches (the MMC driver patches are part of v5.2, the .dts patches part of v5.3)
<Xogium> ah
<Xogium> so I should wait unti 5.3 or backport these ?
<Xogium> actually I'm not sure what the issue even was, reocurring similar to when the clock frequency was set too high ?
<xdarklight> eMMC on my Khadas VIM2 was "broken" without the MMC driver patches, but with those it's now detected and works. I didn't need the .dts patches (from v5.3) to make it work
<xdarklight> queued for v5.3: https://patchwork.kernel.org/cover/10912361/
<xdarklight> sorry, that seconds link is wrong, series which is queued for v5.3: https://patchwork.kernel.org/cover/10907173/
<Xogium> cool
<Xogium> looking forward to kernel 5.3 indeed hehe
<narmstrong> xdarklight: I found a schematic, int is on gpioz_14 and reset on z_15
