mjourdan, the patch works on my board too, it shows the u-boot prompt but I haven't tested the smooth transition to kernel (simplefb support)

mjourdan, one thing I noticed is that writing in the prompt is very slow, probably the u-boot drivers are very simple and slow compared to linux drivers

Haven't tested yet with a usb keyboard plugged to the board, is that what you're using ?

I use minicom and can't reproduce, copy pasting a long line gets through fine :/

mjourdan, the length limit is unpredictable (if the string contains some white spaces the limit is arround 69-71 chars, if the string doesn't contain white spaces I can paste up to 104 chars)
