<saintdev> Xogium: well, I got it compiling, but the build fails on some random firmware. https://www.irccloud.com/pastebin/7N5Ocv2l/
<Xogium> hrmm that's weird
<Xogium> I'm not sure how to go about this error :/ I never built linux-armv7 package
<saintdev> no worries
<saintdev> looks like some missing firmware, but I don't know where the firmware is supposed to come from :P
<Xogium> hrm
<Xogium> hmm
<Xogium> unable to find target: vboot-utils
<Xogium> which is part of alarm repo and not available at all on x86… I'm afraid this thing cannot be crosscomplied
<Xogium> *crosscompiled
<Xogium> unless there is a way to built these on x86
<saintdev> Xogium: i just removed that from makedeps, just trying to get it to compile
<saintdev> it only seems to be used by the chromebook.install
<saintdev> it's on AUR, but the AUR pkgbuild is vastly different from the alarm pkgbuild
<Xogium> nods. But I meant, point was that you can't get the official arch-arm package to build. Not really anyway
<Xogium> not entirely
<Xogium> I think you have to download the firmwares like the stackoverflow answer suggest and that's why leeming said to build the package outside of the git repo you've cloned
<saintdev> then how do they build it on their build server :/
<saintdev> a pkgbuild for the pkgbuild XD

<theperfectpunk> Sorry I got disconnected
<ukleinek> theperfectpunk: you didn't miss anyone trying to help you
<theperfectpunk> ahh ok :)
<theperfectpunk> ukleinek: Hi, can u have a look at it, there is no debug message associated with the error, so I think something has gone wrong elsewhere
<theperfectpunk> If you know where I can get some more info regarding this
<ukleinek> theperfectpunk: sorry, I don't have any knowledge about panfrost, don't even have access to such a platform even (yet)
<theperfectpunk> So this problem is not related to kernel?
<theperfectpunk> I'll check with the guys at #panfrost
