<xdarklight> jbrunet: I got sound out of the I2S pins on my Odroid-C1+ together with a PCM5102A I2S-to-headphones adapter board :)
<xdarklight> that is if I use 3-wire I2S, looking into what's wrong with 4-wire I2S (seems like the master clock is off, but I have to double check that)
<xdarklight> and there we go, fixing 4-wire I2S was easy :)

<jbrunet> Good news. FYI: I don't intend on posting DT in this cycle. There is bindings deps on reset, clk and asoc. I'll probably focus on other things in the meantime, like the internal DAC.
<jbrunet> Any changes necessary to bring this up on meson8 ?
<xdarklight> I only had to make it use the "old" I2S divider in the AIU_CLK_CTRL register instead of AIU_CLK_CTRL_MORE
<xdarklight> (the 3.10 vendor kernel for these 32-bit SoCs doesn't use the divider in the AIU_CLK_CTRL_MORE register either, so I assume that it was only introduced for GXBB)
<jbrunet> Make sense
<jbrunet> Feel free to send the fix to ASoC ... I'll try review it before it gets merged :)
