<mszyprow> mainline needs something else, tied to the modem driver/framework
<forkbomb> yeah, i guess the fw load is something that the kernel should handle
<mszyprow> forkbomb: afair the modem drivers were split into kernel and userspace parts with custom interfaces between
<mszyprow> forkbomb: but I really don't remember the details
<forkbomb> yes, I'm looking at a reverse engineered version of the android userspace, which I assume is similar to whatever tizen uses
