hey, don't remember it was you sjg1_ or mmind00 you reported issues at 1Gbs for gmac_rockchip in uboot ? typically it is working perfectly here @10mbps and @100mbps but not @1Gbps

beeble: that was a rk3288-firefly ... I think meanwhile there were some patches posted that fixed some gmac issues there if I remember correctly ... and rperier also posted a fix some days ago

wens: not sure, but on the rk3288-firefly the kernel itself was working nicely with gbit ethernet, only the uboot portion was faulty, so likely more a driver issue I guess

on sunxi dwmac with U-boot works fine, unless the glue layer was incorrectly configured

I think one board needed a tx clk delay tweak

but most boards just need the appropriate mode (MII/RGMII) set in the glue layer, and for the pinconf

RGMII needs a stronger pin drive strength to retain the signal wave forms

rx/tx delays seem to be the same in u-boot and kernel. so as long as there is no error in the shift operations that should be ok. and rperier send a fix for enabling it

I sent a first patch for fixing issues @100mbs in uboot but not for 1gbs yet. I have checked rx/tx delays, clock sel, rgmii modes... everything seems to be ok
