<hanetzer>
woo. were I not about to be paying tuition I'd prolly do that myself :)
<EmilKarlson>
hanetzer: do what?
<hanetzer>
EmilKarlson: preorder :)
<hanetzer>
EmilKarlson: also, regarding opening the kevin, 8 screws, and make sure no sdcard is in. otherwise, its pretty simple (has some clips in addition to the screws but those pop fairly easily)
<EmilKarlson>
yes, the clips, but they were not easy for me for whatever reason
<EmilKarlson>
but you may have noticed I also gave up, since there was way too much to disassemble to get to the input devices
<EmilKarlson>
well trackpad was kind of under the battery
<hanetzer>
EmilKarlson: what was your goal?
<EmilKarlson>
yes
<hanetzer>
your goal was 'yes' ?
<EmilKarlson>
sorry, I wanted to extract dirt
<hanetzer>
ah, break it up as much as possible and hit it with the old CO2 spray eh?
<EmilKarlson>
maybe, the partial disassemble seems to have already helped a bit
<EmilKarlson>
or perhaps just plasebo

Hi, running self-built 5.2pre kernel on Rock Pi 4 – problem: "shutdown -h" (or a kernel panic) causes the board to heat up like crazy. Known bug? Possible config problem?
