<hanetzer> paccer: does /sys/firmware/fdt exist? or /proc/device-tree ?
Putti has joined #linux-rockchip
<paccer> hanetzer, sadly, thats only for newer kernels
<paccer> im on 3.0.x, older kernels were board file based, newer should hopefully be device tree based
<hanetzer> oof. well, /proc/iomem can be of help
<paccer> thanks - i've dumped pretty much everything i could in hope of digging out information, will look there :)
<hanetzer> also devmem'ing suspected io regions can be helpful. arm ltd standard peripherals have some registers which always return 0xb105f00d (biosfood) which can help with identification
<paccer> nice, thanks :)
<paccer> i have a minix x7 that i'll be hacking next... also appears to be the same problem, old kernel, no device tree
<paccer> planning to opensource my findings if i have success with it
