<EmilKarlson> I\m now ignoring 75% of the drm fb flushes, seems to help with the slowness
<EmilKarlson> should possibly ignore more
ifbizo_ has joined #linux-rockchip
<EmilKarlson> based on the benchmarks the slowdown was about 11x

<sphalerite> hanetzer: I'm having some difficulty disabling flash WP on my gru-bob, do you have any tips?
<sphalerite> oh, just realised I hadn't set OverrideBatt to Always
<sphalerite> unfortunately, no better after doing so
<sphalerite> If anyone else has advice on gru-bob firmware I would welcome it too!

<imsherlock> hey folks! I'm trying to use the rk3399 jpeg encoder and I'm a little uncertain about what's required to get this working
<imsherlock> namely I see that Rockchip has provided the MPP framework, but this seems to be dependent on patches that are not upstream
<imsherlock> does the MPP framework significantly help in anyway? is there a simplified example of JPEG encoding using the current upstream drivers?
