Hi, I am having a little problem with git clone --recursive git://github.com/mirage/megamirage

when I clone it I get all the repos, but git log gives me no data for Jan 2015

avsm: I will put the scripts into a repo on xenbits - they are self bootstrapping. Aka they check out all xen project repos and you can create stats per month ... I have not cleaned up the GitDM files for Mirage though

well, there are multiple scopes of definitions: global built-in, config, declared in a "widget" file, declared at the top of a template, provided as a default hole value, etc

also, there is a hierarchy of variables and relative references between them

so there should probably be a way to assign values to variables at different levels of that hierarchy with nested namespaces

i'm not really sure what the most sensical design is... i'm sure there is prior art in existing template systems
