<ceene>
well
<ceene>
so
<ceene>
we've just tested ahycka's FPGA based board
<ceene>
the one you saw some pictures of
<ceene>
# cat /proc/cpuinfo
<ceene>
CPU-Ver: 9.5, little endian
<ceene>
CPU-MHz: 83.250000
<ceene>
FPGA-Arch: artix7
<ceene>
CPU-Family: MicroBlaze
<ceene>
BogoMips: 41.16
<ceene>
UP and running!
<DocScrutinizer05>
:-)
<ceene>
SPI flash, RAM, serial port...
<ceene>
that's the things we've tested so far
<ceene>
but it's damn cool!

atk: (librem) it seems a bit as if "no carrier" means "no telephony". which would indeed help a lot towards RYF :)
<DocScrutinizer05>
LOL
<DocScrutinizer05>
atk: ((it doesn't quite seem to be as assuring as the Neo900 on the secure design end.)) you can bet on that, for two reasons: 1) they will almost inevitably use a integrated APE+Modem SoC like snapdragon etc, for cost and size reasons 2) why would they even bother to think about implementing the sophisticated counter surveillance monitoring hardware we got?

ravelo_: right now the site is 'locked' on 'news', so I will have to 'unlock' the categories so that we can have proper separation between 'news', 'ublog', and 'labs'. It will take some time, but will eventually happen.
<hellekin>
ravelo_: my current focus is to make a weekly pulse, so that we start (again) having a productive rhythm for news.
