<Maddas> hmmm
<Maddas> Does anybody here write O'Caml in vi(m)?
<Maddas> I'm having problem with the syntax file.
<srv> nop... I use emacs
<Maddas> me too, I'm trying to switch.
<Maddas> but the indenting in vim ocaml mode, well, there isn't any.
<Maddas> It just autoindents every line same as the previous line.
<srv> :((
<Maddas> going back to emacs if I can't fix this
<Maddas> :/
<vegai> you've done 'syntax on' and all the others?

<Maddas> yes

<Maddas> I found one mode that does proper autoindenting, but that one doesn't do syntax highlighting.
<Maddas> although TBH syntax highlighting isn't too much of a necessity in ocaml :)
<vegai> I'd just use emacs, no big deal
<Maddas> I'm trying to switch.
<Maddas> and the editors are very different :)

<Xcal> i have written some OCaml with vim
* Zadeh spent a weekend trying to configure emacs and gave up using it
<Xcal> I simply turn autoindent off and do my own indenting...

<Maddas> Zadeh_: Emacs works fine out of the box with the ocaml mode provided :)
<Maddas> And I have mine pretty customised now, it's almost a pity that I'm trying vim now :)
<bk_> Str.search_forward is inconsistent
<bk_> that sucks
<Maddas> inconsistent?
<bk_> returns an int or raises an exception
<bk_> damn ocaml pattern matching is *so* powerful
