<ulfdoz> Is there some library, providing several authentication methods like DIGEST-MD5 or plain to a client for use of authentication to some server?
<bluestorm> hum
<bluestorm> openssl ?
<ulfdoz> From the docs I currently don't see, how this would help. I want to auth to a timsieved.

<ulfdoz> Where is the difference between a "variant type" and a "constructed term" in context of http://caml.inria.fr/pub/docs/manual-ocaml/manual032.html sections 18.3.4 and 18.3.6?
demitar_ is now known as Demitar
<Demitar> What do you mean? The variants are the "type foo = Bar | Baz of string" types whereas the others are a few built-in types.
<Demitar> Actually, the variants may refer to only polymorphic variants.
<ulfdoz> Ah, ok. I think, I understand.
<Demitar> Bit representation of garbage collected values is always tricky of course. :)
<Demitar> Make one mistake and it might go *kaboom* in a completely unrelated part of the program. :)
<ulfdoz> You make me fear. It's my first shot with interfacing C-libs.
<Demitar> I've already considered it fearful, but as long as you use the proper interfaces it'll be fine.
* Demitar uses camlidl instead. :)
<ulfdoz> just installed it.

<perspectivet> you should be able to use the fink package. Though I haven't checked that myself.
<perspectivet> You could also use the GODI distribution.
