<flux> this is interesting: <fsbd79$90j$1@oravannahka.helsinki.fi> - boolean operations in types
<flux> I converted it into ocaml if anyone's interested..
<flux> it also features a two-bit adder in types

<abbestia> hello there! I'm learning O'Caml, very nice language :-)
<cbrannon> Yep, it is.
<abbestia> I was wondering if it is possible for the interpreted code, byte-code compiled code and native code to interact
<cbrannon> abbestia: I think so. You can, for example, build a custom toplevel with ocamlmktop which contains all three.
<abbestia> say, write the core components of the software and compile them natively, and then tie them up with some interpreted "script-like" glue code

<bluestorm> abbestia: i'm not sure it is possible
szell has joined #ocaml
<bluestorm> i don't think you can load bytecode into a native program at runtime
<bluestorm> you could compile your core component to bytecode instead, or wait for the natdynlink (native code runtime linking capability) to come into the standard distribution
<bluestorm> (it's intended to land in 3.11 iirc, wich is pretty soon)
