I'm working on properly building the OCaml PLplot interface as part of the main PLplot source tree. The OCaml bindings are compiled against the not-yet-installed C library, which makes the "-custom" option somewhat ineffective. Any suggestions on the proper way to handle this?

a "linkopts" line in the META file looks like it may be the way to go, but I'm not sure about that.

Is is possible to tell ocamlfind to call pkg-config using the linkopts META option, or otherwise?
