hdkr, on a scale from nope to almost maybe, how possible would it be to use FEX or similar to run a graphical x86_32 application that requires usage of wine and d3d9 on a host with only GL2.1 and GLES2

kinkinkijkin: box86 + standard Wine D3D -> OpenGL is likely to work. You'll need to run box86 in a 32-bit chroot/container, and you should enable ARM_DYNAREC in CMake for box86

Feels like overkill to have a 32bit arm chroot. I believe they just need to have 32bit ARM libraries available on the host
