Schwarzbaer: My first ccc so still learning :)
<Schwarzbaer>
Well, I've always admired it from afar, where I can watch the streams from the peace and quiet of my own room.
<Schwarzbaer>
SeanTAllen, so far all I did was to checkout winksaville's PR, enter `make`, and be told that no LLVM installation can be found, so I guess I'll slog through the build instructions next.
<Schwarzbaer>
emilbayes, skimming the titles of the CCC talks, I'd guess that there'd be a rather low chance of a talk on Pony getting a slot, unless it's about some rather arcane things either in it or related to it. Or you can somehow explain why Pony is about some social cause.
<emilbayes>
Schwarzbaer: don’t feel like that is true. There are a lot of talks with social content but I also feel like deep technical talks are very welcome. I saw one about writing user space network card drivers the other day and about the issues that comes with it and memory mapped up

Was thinking of pony then

:)
<Schwarzbaer>
I guess that's one of the ones that I'd call being about rather arcane stuff. ^^

Hrm, looks like their media servers are running red-hot right now. :/

winksaville, SeanTAllen: I built ponyc from winksaville's origin/support-openssl1.1 branch on Debian Stretch, then tried building ponyc/examples/net/ again (from the same branch). The latter build failed pretty much exactly like it did for the stock ponyc from the official repo: http://dpaste.com/15RQ385
