<mathju_> I'm looking forward to our voice-chat meeting today at 17:00 UTC on https://meet.jit.si/qaul.net
<noracodes> My flight was just rescheduled so I may not be able to make it. If I can't I will update via mailing list as soon as I can.
<spacekookie> Good luck!
<spacekookie> Although, considering I'd very much like to chat with you about async stuff, would it help if we did it later? Would that work for everybody?
<spacekookie> noracodes: ^
<noracodes> Thanks for the good wishes
<noracodes> I won't be off the plane until kind of late
<spacekookie> Okay. Hm, I guess I'll write down my thoughts in email then :)
<spacekookie> Also I actually have another call an 1800utc x_x
<noracodes> Okay I will reply to your email ASAP. We're on the way into the air, talk later.
<mathju_> noracodes: Have a good flight! and hear you soon :-)
<spacekookie> Will be there in about 5
<mathju_> spacekookie: see you :-)

<jess3jane> mathju_: there were two issues with the http-test binary
<jess3jane> firstly it uses the old Qaul::start() method
<jess3jane> secondly it uses the old way to start the http-api
<jess3jane> i changed the second but i don't actually know how to properly start qaul so spacekookie will have to fix that when she has time
<jess3jane> (we switched to a builder pattern for the http api server so adding optional services was easier/less fragile
<jess3jane> )
<spacekookie> jess3jane: to start qaul you need to bootstrap a little bit, but not toooo much. You can copy basically most of the example from the qaul-linux client
<spacekookie> Also fun fact: you can just init an empty route with to endpoints that drops all packets that are being sent xD
<amanjeev> A built-in /dev/null
<amanjeev> :)
