people are made to sit and wait. for 15 minutes. they're given the possibility to administer (unpleasant) electroshocks to themselves. that's the only distraction offered. guess what, they do shock themselves :)

Well you could also punch yourself in the face, yet nobody does it
<wpwrak>
hmm. maybe they should have shown them a little video of people punching themselves. then see if they pick up the idea. quick, let's apply for a research grant !

any tips on what to use to do some forensics on a DoS somebody runs against a WLAN AP?
<whitequark>
look at it in wireshark
<whitequark>
iw wlan0 interface add mon0 type monitor
<whitequark>
wireshark -i mon0
<whitequark>
don't ask why i have that memorized
<DocScrutinizer05>
wireshark already has "use monitormode". Thanks anyway, seems my first guess was the best one :-)
<DocScrutinizer05>
the built-in WLAN of my CF-29 doesn't support monitor mode. Had to use a USB WLAN dongle :-/
