<ChALkeR> To get 32 bits (instead of 16) in linux by default it is enough to: 1) Enable CONFIG_LOGO_LINUX_BMP in kernel config, 2) set correct rgba values, rk_fb sets 5/11,6/5,5/0,0/0 even for 32bit.
<ChALkeR> That gives 24bit rgb colors.

<ATP> hello ... i search more informations about 'Rockchip Linux Upgrade Tool' as documentations, files pdf ... if exists !?
<ATP> this url ( http://wiki.radxa.com/Rock/flash_the_image#Linux ) provide more little informations ;-) (thanks for naobsd)
<ChALkeR> ATP: One thing to mention: it does not require sude, a corresponding udev rule will work perfectly.
<ChALkeR> *sudo
<ChALkeR> The manual says to launch it with sudo, but that's not required.
<ATP> yes ! not problem for me ... (same error on documentation for rkflashtool ;-) ...)
<ChALkeR> echo 'SUBSYSTEMS=="usb", ATTRS{idVendor}=="2207", ATTRS{idProduct}=="310b", MODE="0666"' > /etc/udev/rules.d/90-radxa.rules; sudo udevadm control --reload-rules
<ChALkeR> Something like that.
* ATP i'm technical informatician ... accustomed to Linux
<ChALkeR> =)
* ATP french ;-)
<ChALkeR> Just in case someone else reads the logs.
<ATP> log irc?
<ATP> From 17h tonight, that's what I do ... From 07/2014 to today :p
<ATP> I found all informations i needed ... i would like to find more informations about 'Rockchip Linux Upgrade Tool' ;-)
<ATP> more explanations ;-)
<ATP> if it's possible!? :D

<ChALkeR> else-: The recovery button is on the left of usb, are you pressing the right one?
<ChALkeR> else-: You should disconnect power and otg before pressing the button.
<else-> ChALkeR: do i need to connect both otg and power? i've only used otg.
<else-> tried that as well now, device does not show up
