<datmw> Hey guys, short question, is there any way to modify the boot-parameters from within ubuntu13 on RR Pro?
<Astralix1> use rkflashtool to read and write parameter or use the official linux tool "upgrade_tool" with DI -p parameter
<Astralix1> if you want to download, modify, write:
<Astralix1> rkflashtool p > parameter
<Astralix1> upgrade_tool di -p parameter
<Astralix1> I am not sure if the rkflashtool can write the parameter correctly, so I use the official tool
<Astralix1> rkflashtool sources are on github, for upgrade_tool search on crewrktablets.de
<Astralix1> or check dl.radxa.com
<datmw> thank you, hoped there is a way to do it from within the running system. I'm gonna place it in one of my products and wanted to be able to switch of and on serial debugging for I want to actually use ttyFIQ0 to connect my peripherals
<datmw> another question: is it possible to supply power via the GPIO header? should i use VCC or VDD?

<Astralix1> Ouch!
<Astralix1> I was for lunch time and didn't see this...
<Astralix1> Hope you read the backlogs... but you should NEVER NEVER NEVER supply radxa rock through the debug header!
<Astralix1> You must go through USB OTG or 5V connector!
