11:41 <loongson> My last wish would be to see the apt-get upgrade install the linux 4.0+ kernels rather than using rockchip upgrade_tool. From what I understand the rockchip upgrade tool flashes the boot img to a different part of the board not part of the same partition as the usual / directory. What do you recommend that I do in order to try to boot from the new kernel 4.0 armmp image provided by debian directly?

11:43 <loongson> From what I have experienced, it is well worth using Debian unstable "Sid" version.

11:44 <loongson> I'm also looking forward to the Rock2_full product coming out. I hope there is support for Debian unstable from there also.
