Hello. Something I'd like to clarify - when making a package, is there any reason I don't want to just download binaries from their site and call it a day?
<ill_logic>
It seems that the packages tend to build from source.
<ill_logic>
And that also seems like the "proper" way. But since Sandstorm doesn't have a package dependency system (apps contain all dependencies other than SS itself)
<ill_logic>
Is there really a resaon?

Hi guys, I have just set up Sandstorm on a server. I would like to use a different favicon and logo icon. Does anyone know how to do that?

t25b: Whitelabeling is a Sandstorm for Work feature. I know you can change the logo with it, I am not sure if that also affects the favicon.
<ocdtr_web>
ill_logic: I don't think there's a functional need to, though I suppose building from source confirms that your Sandstorm app is also, in fact, open source.

It also means that there are fewer opportunities for a source/binary mismatch, if one is concerned about such things (see: reproducible builds and adversaries who target developers).
<TimMc>
Dunno if that's involved in the reasoning, though.

ill_logic: thanks for the reply. Even the whitelabeling doesn't include the ability to upload a new logo or icon...
