<ss-ssl> hello all, I am trying to follow the official tutorial on how to install SSL on sandstorm. One of the steps requires to upload certificates to /etc/nginx/ssl/. The nginx folder is not present on my VM, please advise?

<TimMc> ss-ssl: Is nginx in fact installed?
<ss-ssl> TimMc, I don't think so. I'm not sure how the content gets served
<ss-ssl> I was following these instructions here: https://sprin.github.io/sandstorm/administering/ssl/#technical-details
<ss-ssl> do I need to install nginx manually to enable SSL?
<CcxWrk> That's the usual approach I believe.
<ss-ssl> installed nginx but it's not starting, there's a conflict, "address already in use"
<ss-ssl> is there any additional documentation on how to get it done?

<TimMc> ss-ssl: If some port is already in use, that suggests you haven't shut down your Sandstorm instance and reconfigured it to listen on a different port.
<TimMc> If you follow all the instructions there, you won't end up with a port conflict.
<TimMc> ss-ssl: Or hmm, is it possible apache or something else is already using that port?
<TimMc> `lsof -P -i tcp -s tcp:listen` should show you what all is listening on various ports
<ss-ssl> stopped sandstorm, nginx started fine, started sandstorm. But now when I load sandstorm page the nginx page is showing, saying that additional steps need to be taken to config it.. thanks for your help, I will try more tomorrow
<TimMc> ss-ssl: Great! Sounds like you're on the right track.
