<digitalcircuit> When explaining some of Sandstorm's differences to someone who referenced https://www.gnu.org/philosophy/who-does-that-server-really-serve.html , I pointed to https://docs.sandstorm.io/en/latest/using/security-practices/ as an example of measures for interoperability, anti-surveillance, etc. However, there's several remarks from 2015-2016 on the Powerbox not being ready, raw network access not yet being blocked, etc...
<digitalcircuit> If I recall later developments correctly, those documented exceptions to Sandstorm's security are now out of date?
<JacobWeisz[m]> There's a PR I'm working on to update that.
<digitalcircuit> JacobWeisz[m]: Awesome, thank you!
<digitalcircuit> (Just a link that should've gone to https://docs.sandstorm.io/en/latest/using/security-non-events/ instead)
<kentonv> so the app index is failing because `xz` wasn't included in the app package because I didn't realize I needed to test actually uploading an app locally in order to fully exercise that code path.... ugh
<kentonv> I guess I need `gpg` in there too
