<ohsix> heh random brain droppings. vr is kind of meh, but consider the space orb, and the 3d painting programs. walking around models with something like the vive, but as an interface to solidworks. probably dumb but would be fun to sell things to people
<ohsix> maybe you could have it just to have a full scale model people can inspect, turn layer/assembly visibility on and off
<whitequark> scanlime is very fond of vr as a modeling tool
<whitequark> I'm not

<cr1901_modern> Maybe I'm just a luddite, but something skeeves me about the current VR industry. It is extremely inaccessible unless you have a lot of money, and they seem very concerned with just getting a product to market instead of making sure it's a good fit for the avg consumer
<GitHub> [solvespace] dynamodan commented on issue #144: Ok so commit d11ba149d31994abd560 addresses the variable naming and the coding style (I think). I think it was the one line being more than 100 characters long, but you didn't specify. Not sure if you will like the coding style yet. :) https://github.com/solvespace/solvespace/pull/144#issuecomment-269833018
