<swivel> is there a way to make the measurement units map directly to the values exported in triangle meshes?
<swivel> I'd like to be able to export models from solvespace constrained to a unit cube like -1,-1,-1...1,1,1
<whitequark> iirc triangle meshes are always in millimeters?
<whitequark> yeah. there is an "export scale factor" option you could use as well
<swivel> hmmm
<swivel> where's the export scale factor option accessed?
<whitequark> text window → configuration
<swivel> damn i've never clicked that
<swivel> thanks whitequark!
<swivel> whitequark: is there an easy way to increase the resolution of radiused edges in the exported mesh?
<whitequark> yes, lower "export chord tolerance"
<swivel> sweet
<swivel> i heart solvespace

<swivel> I wish there were an easy way to put bevels on edges in solvespace
<swivel> It's super convenient to slap together models but I always end up exporting a .obj and importing into blender to do crap like that, and the mesh is generally quite messy and frustrating to work with at that point
