[solvespace] whitequark commented on issue #374: OK. I think you need to install GLX. It is not normal that a desktop X11 installation only has EGL. I do not think this is a SolveSpace issue; the message seems to be printed by some libGL dispatch mechanism on your system. https://github.com/solvespace/solvespace/issues/374#issuecomment-459316520

[solvespace] whitequark commented on issue #374: no, I mean, what implementation is it? it seems like your libGL only provides EGL functions, not desktop GL. the message implies it's some sort of libGL multiplexer. https://github.com/solvespace/solvespace/issues/374#issuecomment-459323035

[solvespace] whitequark commented on issue #375: No. SolveSpace's internal modeling functions assume that they are always called with correct arguments. If this is not the case, the entire application (or anything that embeds SolveSpace) will abort.... https://github.com/solvespace/solvespace/issues/375#issuecomment-459414627

[solvespace] bobertlo commented on issue #374: Popping back from void-packages, this is a stable package repo. I don't think they would package the 3.0 git release. I am happy to look at packaging 2.3, but for solverspace/libdxfrw I'd need a release to pull and build in tree for the package. Void really does not do git releases. https://github.com/solvespace/solvespace/issues/374#issuecomment-459451605
