<stellar-slack1> <matschaffer> Heads up: Starting a history reset on stellar-core testnet (http://horizon-testnet.stellar.org|horizon-testnet.stellar.org / http://cluster-testnet.stellar.org|cluster-testnet.stellar.org)
<stellar-slack1> <joyce> has anyone here been to oscon? we will be doing a "birds of a feather" topic there I believe so would love to get feedback on what kind of dev topic you think might be interesting to the audience there: http://www.oscon.com/open-source-2015/public/schedule/grid/public/2015-07-21

<stellar-slack1> <matschaffer> stellar-core testnet reset is complete. 1 & 2 are progressing. Still waiting on 3 to catch up (/cc @scott )
<stellar-slack1> <scott> :+1: I’ll fund friendbot momentarily
<stellar-slack1> <kwelstr> friendbot is working?
nelisky has quit [Quit: nelisky]
<stellar-slack1> <scott> Not yet, I’m looking into it.
<stellar-slack1> <kwelstr> ok
<stellar-slack1> <scott> Alright, @kwelstr friendbot is refunded
<stellar-slack1> <kwelstr> cool!
<stellar-slack1> <kwelstr> I finally got some lumens :)
<stellar-slack1> <kwelstr> O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!" He chortled in his joy.
<stellar-slack1> <scott> lol :)
<stellar-slack1> <joyce> chortled! i need to chortle more:)
<stellar-slack1> <kwelstr> a chortle a day keeps the doctor away!

<stellar-slack1> <lumenpay> @eva we are to carry out a crowdfunding incubator program, our team is building a btc gateway ,on this basc ,we will build a payment system on Stellar
<stellar-slack1> <lab> my stellar-core cann't catchup

<stellar-slack1> <lab> what's the latest validators? @matschaffer
<stellar-slack1> <lab> i'm using : "gTDZhQ14WuP8rQ9SrkS1EhWNhZyybv97cHNsGRADKQtBoJpTTk", "gsjjWTsQP5C2HpcetiLz4LDa9VECGvZMTyhPUDWi57ZKafV5sA4", "gSCB2HML88CvMwt2iryJGdS61gDr2nhMeYFVWF2B4m6w5js73T",
<stellar-slack1> <matschaffer> @lab history was reset on testnet today so yo need to clear out your state
<stellar-slack1> <lab> i runned with --newdb
<stellar-slack1> <matschaffer> Not sure that's enough. I usually wipe out history, rm the buckets on disk and drop the db
<stellar-slack1> <matschaffer> I've seen it get weird if you only do one of the three
<stellar-slack1> <lab> ok, i will try
<stellar-slack1> <matschaffer> Thanks, sorry for the trouble
<stellar-slack1> <jed> lab: you are using latest master?

<stellar-slack1> <bohdan> Hi, guys I try to build stellar core and have this trouble what can I do fix?
<stellar-slack1> <jed> is that russian?
<stellar-slack1> <bohdan> yes
<stellar-slack1> <jed> what does the first error say?
<stellar-slack1> <lab> jed: my stellar-core is still out of sync to core net
<stellar-slack1> <lab> i saw 3 peers at version "e3d25e4" which is not found in git repo
<stellar-slack1> <lab> i am using the latest master "4db99a"
<stellar-slack1> <bohdan> thank you
<stellar-slack1> <bohdan> 1> libsqlite.vcxproj -> D:\Work\stellar-core-master\Builds\VisualStudio2015\x64\Debug\libsqlite.lib 2> error.cpp first err
<stellar-slack1> <jed> I mean the first error message under "running xdrc"
<stellar-slack1> <bohdan> stellar-core-master\Builds\VisualStudio2015\x64\Debug\xdrc.exe It is not an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
<stellar-slack1> <jed> ok what happens when you try to build just xdrc?
<stellar-slack1> <jed> bohdan: looks like it failed toload those projects
<stellar-slack1> <jed> did you run git submodule update ?
<stellar-slack1> <bohdan> wait for checking...

<stellar-slack1> <bohdan> I've just cloned stellar-core from github and there were no xdrc and xdrp projects. They fail to load and in build dir there is no projects files.
<stellar-slack1> <jed> yeah you need to run: git submodule update
<stellar-slack1> <bohdan> ok, I'll try this
<stellar-slack1> <scott> Just pushed out some no go-horizon code… operations details are in place: https://horizon-testnet.stellar.org/operations
<stellar-slack1> <scott> next up, paging links from go.
<stellar-slack1> <bohdan> project loading fixet, but "flex" is not an internal or external
<stellar-slack1> <jed> it loads xdrc now?
<stellar-slack1> <bohdan> yes
<stellar-slack1> <jed> what is the current error?
<stellar-slack1> <eva> @lumenpay: that's awesome to hear! Keep us posted with how it's going :)
<stellar-slack1> <bohdan> I try to build xdrc and it want flex
<stellar-slack1> <jed> https://github.com/stellar/stellar-core/blob/master/INSTALL-Windows.txt did you do all these steps?
<stellar-slack1> <bohdan> oh, thank you :-)

<stellar-slack1> <sunny-g> Quick question: the transaction API suggests that the tx JSON data retrieved from horizon is far less detailed than the data I can pull from the websocket API. Is it not finished or will there just be less?
<stellar-slack1> <scott> Two points: the tx json retrieved from horizon really represent a different concept than what tx was in stellard. The rough equivalent to the old notion of a transaction is the operation
<stellar-slack1> <scott> Also, the operational details are not complete yet, so some info is missing
<stellar-slack1> <scott> You can see an example from horizon here: https://horizon-testnet.stellar.org/operations
<stellar-slack1> <scott> notice that some of the records have a `type_s` that is `payment`

<stellar-slack1> <bohdan> ok, problem solved and I have some new it is necessary to run on x64?
<stellar-slack1> <vanessa> *Reminder*: tomorrow June 11 from 9am EST - 11am EST http://Stellar.org|Stellar.org dev team members (including @bartek) will be demoing + answering questions about the Interstellar Module System. <stellar-slack1> <sunny-g> @scott: I see. I recently became interested in the AffectedNodes data from the old tx messages but it seems that that data doesn't belong in horizons API.
<stellar-slack1> <sunny-g> @scott: will here be an API for that kind of data? Perhaps directly out of core? Or will AffectedNodes-equivalent data be in the "effects" filed
<stellar-slack1> <scott> @sunny-g: Your intuition is correct… the “AffectedNodes” meta data in stellard will be an analog the “effects” for a transaction. I hope to build that all out next week.

<stellar-slack1> <sunny-g> @scott: awesome! I can't believe it took me so long to actually look into that data and realize how useful it can be for doing things like graph analytics on top of the ledger and I'm really glad to hear it's coming soon. Thanks for your hard work!
<stellar-slack1> <scott> :) happy to help
