<stellar-slack> <eva> @cdive: @kwelstr yeah, good idea not to!
<stellar-slack> <eva> for what it's worth, we have a few tips for spotting phishing scam emails: https://stellarorg.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202740305-How-can-I-protect-myself-from-fake-sites-pretending-to-be-Stellar-org-
<stellar-slack> <eva> but not clicking through from email is a good catch-all :)
<stellar-slack> <istasiik> Hi all!
<stellar-slack> <istasiik> I have few questions about developing and whole process of Stellar. Can you help me?

<stellar-slack> <istasiik> @eva: we are building an app for money requests. http://Persollo.com|Persollo.com. We want to use Stellar for it. We want to send money from buyers bank account to stellar, make transaction in stellar network and withdraw them to sellers bank account. How can we make it?
<stellar-slack> <dzham> What kind of transactions in stellar network are you thinking about?
<stellar-slack> <istasiik> @dzham: i believe, that we need transactions for crossborder transactions in different currencies. Am i right? Could you please explain process in details?
<stellar-slack> <istasiik> To explain simply,we are building an app for transactions between bank accounts
<stellar-slack> <dzham> I’m just thinking about your part of things… I mean, either you set up your own gateways for the currencies you’re interested in, or you rely on existing gateways
<stellar-slack> <dzham> But since you’re saying “between bank account” I’m guessing you’d want to be the gateway for all of that?
<stellar-slack> <dzham> Otherwise I don’t see the point
<stellar-slack> <istasiik> Yes, we are thinking about our own gateway for that stuff
<stellar-slack> <dzham> Ok.. and then using Stellar to get liquidity for the exchange?
<stellar-slack> <istasiik> Yes. And then to withdraw them to other person bank account
<stellar-slack> <dzham> Yup, that’s part of being a gateway
<stellar-slack> <istasiik> We want to do that because of low stellar fees, instant transactions and security without difficult PCI DSS certification. So, is it possible? What is the process for this kind of a transactions for stellar gateways?
<stellar-slack> <dzham> If we’re looking at just one gateway, then what happens is that you set up a bank account, people deposit money, and the GW issues credits on the Stellar network. Credits can then be redeemed by a user, upon which the GW send money to the bank account of the user.
<stellar-slack> <dzham> If we take one step back and get a look at the bigger picture, then once users have credits A, those credits can be exchanged for credits B from other users, who can redeem credits A provided they have an account with the GW that issued A
<stellar-slack> <dzham> So your case, if you want to do bank 2 bank, you need to be a gateway for all currencies you’re interested in, and have bank accounts for all of thos different currencies
<stellar-slack> <istasiik> Can gateway work with some banks protocol? May be swift or simmilar? How i can automatize receiving user costs from they's VISA or MASTER and funding the wallets in GW
<stellar-slack> <dzham> That’s totally up to the GW
<stellar-slack> <dzham> As in, nothing of that is provided by the Stellar network or the SDF
<stellar-slack> <dzham> That’s something you need to figure out with your bank(s)
<stellar-slack> <istasiik> or may be some processing centers..
<stellar-slack> <dzham> Yeah, but then you have cards processing costs :S
<stellar-slack> <dzham> (And you run the risk of getting chargebacks)
<stellar-slack> <istasiik> dilemma :)
<stellar-slack> <istasiik> @dzham: Thanks!
<stellar-slack> <dzham> np!
<stellar-slack> <dzham> Happy to confuse you :)
<Kwelstr> LOL dzham!
<stellar-slack> <dzham> "Still confused, but on a higher level” as my english professor used to say
