<itoral> apinheiro[m]1: guess, what, I am working on another ldvary patch that will remove most of the code I added to handle for ldvary sequences
<itoral> running shader-db now to see if it keeps the benefits
<itoral> of the previous implementation
<apinheiro[m]1> well, nice
<apinheiro[m]1> I guess that as little code as needed the better
<itoral> yeah, it also makes it better for scheduling other stuff that is compatible with ldvary sequences
<itoral> so it may lead to better code as well
<itoral> apinheiro[m]1: btw, I talked to the person who wrote to mesa users about having issues getting Vulkan to work on a custom distro. Turns out that GL works just fine for him, so I guess that means the kernel is good
<itoral> not sure what is going on with that
<apinheiro[m]1> bleh
<apinheiro[m]1> no idea neither
<apinheiro[m]1> but I guess that's the risk with custom distros
<apinheiro[m]1> and that's the usual stuff that is hard to know what happens unless you have the environment
<apinheiro[m]1> at hand
