<pigeons>
I actually think its an interesting project
<pigeons>
i'm kinda burnt out on stuff that doesnt exist yet though
<ceene>
hi!
<ceene>
ahycka is more willing everyday to route neo900 using kicad
<ceene>
i think it's gonna happen :P
<ceene>
i'll be back on monday or so
<ceene>
she's just sent out to fab a fpga based board, that will be the most complex board she's done until now
<ceene>
neo900 is probably easier than that

ceene: HI!!! we just mentioned ahycka in a closed chat :-)
<DocScrutinizer05>
to all sw devels in here: would somebody be willing to get an account on https://build.opensuse.org, and build a kicad4.1 version for targets Ubuntu, Debian, and Suse42 Suse13.2 ?
<DocScrutinizer05>
OBS ^^^
<DocScrutinizer05>
prolly known to many of you from meego
<wpwrak>
DocScrutinizer05: now "make sch" "fails" if sorting is needed, but doesn't perform the sort. you have to run "make sort" to get it to do that.
<DocScrutinizer05>
since I so far don't use make sch, it's no need for a pull
<DocScrutinizer05>
my edits in maefile werr just for you :-)
<DocScrutinizer05>
my edits in makefile were just for you :-)
<wpwrak>
heh :)
<wpwrak>
"make sch" can be quite a timesaver :) remember, it's good to quit eeschema often, to keep it from accumulating unwanted changes. they can happen if you do *anything* with power symbols, even if it's a change you remove later.
<wpwrak>
that's a rather annoying "feature" of eeschema. one i hope to see disappear with the changes planned for the next ... months, i guess

It's no longer just one row, the whole keyboard has died now
<atk>
:(
<atk>
And I haven't even used it this past week.
<atk>
Must be some kind of parasite.
<atk>
Copper eating parasite.
<DocScrutinizer05>
water?
<atk>
DocScrutinizer05: I dried the hell out of it earlier, and the week has been dry.
<atk>
I took the PCB out and sat it on my PSU for half a day
<DocScrutinizer05>
hmm
<atk>
that thing gets warm
<DocScrutinizer05>
half a day might be a tad short, but
<atk>
I don't exactly have a sonic cleaner thing.
<DocScrutinizer05>
anyway it's defect already, drying won't repair it
<atk>
Sadly
<atk>
Maybe I should throw it in alcohol and then dry it?
<atk>
I'm not sure if the camera module would survive that though, that thing looks like a box and I'm not sure how watertight it is.
<DocScrutinizer05>
needs 97+% alcohol though
<DocScrutinizer05>
that's generally a good idea, yes
<atk>
I also don't have a large volume of high% alcohol.
<DocScrutinizer05>
camera needs removal prior to that
<atk>
I don't think I will be able to save it, I'm going to poland in almost a month though so I might be able to score something then.
<atk>
And to be honest, it got about a grand total of three raindrops on it :P I hope that's not deadly to a N900
<atk>
(drops on the screen too)
<atk>
And this device is literally 8 years old now.
<atk>
(No refurbishing done in the meantime)
<atk>
it was stuck in someone's attic for most of that time.
