So i got pricing back from Betty for the initial run of 25x MEAD boards... $945 for PCBs, $550 for assembly. That doesn't count parts (which would be about $2700 if bought from digikey, I'm checking if she can get better pricing locally in SZ)
<Bird|otherbox>
so <$40 a board, not too shabby...what's the layercount on the MEAD boards btw?
<azonenberg>
4 layers. This is basically oshpark stackup except with impedance control and silver instead of gold plating
<azonenberg>
PCBs are $27.80 each plus 250 tooling

Then i still have to do the enclosures, as well as the MMCX input board which is trivial (id eeprom, decoupling cap, and nine connectors) and will probably be hand assembled in my lab

<azonenberg>
enclosures are looking to be on the order of $40 a pop @ qty 25

Bird|otherbox: you saw the final assembled MEAD prototype or no?
