<mibofra>
hi guys, someone can help me with a powervr? It's on an allwinner a80 on a cubieboard4
<mibofra>
"gbm: failed to open any driver (search paths /usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/dri:${ORIGIN}/dri:/usr/lib/dri)
<mibofra>
"
<mibofra>
even if there is the pvr_dri.so library under /usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/dri
<mibofra>
it's annoying to have the driver with gbm avoiding the loading of it
<mibofra>
the gpu is a powervr G6230, the link is the module to have it working on the a80, already compiled.
<mibofra>
thanks for every idea :)
<ssvb>
mibofra: is it linux or android?
<mibofra>
ssvb, it's linux, but I think that some modules are in common or ported on both
<mibofra>
the kernel source is of the cubietech guys
<ssvb>
mibofra: do you want to get 3d acceleration working?
<mibofra>
yep, without chrooting the os on android possibly xD
<ssvb>
it's probably best to contact cubietech support if they are providing this linux distribution
<mibofra>
they're providing only the tools, binaries (uboot and co) and the kernel for the a80. The rootfs is put in the image while creating it, and normally it's a linaro 14.04
<mibofra>
I've used live-tools to create a rootfs of ubuntu mate 15.04 instead
<mibofra>
I've to see if there is a difference on the mesa binaries provided by their rootfs and the standard one
<mibofra>
the accel driver seems to be provided by allwinner
<mibofra>
but maybe I'm an idiot, but I do no understand why imagination can't provide the drivers itself, ever with small modifications for every SoC
