Hi, all. I wanted to find out if there was a way to unit-test cinch.rb with RSpec. I'm finding it hard to test without a live IRC connection.
<dominikh>
not really, no
<CodeGnome_>
Isn't there at least a way to hook into the event system to inject an event for test purposes?
<leftylink>
that's pretty OK for most things I've wanted to test I guess. I have some vague collections of "I just realized this gem doesn't do X" but now I don't remember what X is
<CodeGnome_>
leftylink: Thanks. I'll take a look at that project. Even if it only helps a little bit, a little goes a long way. :)
<CodeGnome_>
leftylink: Looks like the project is pretty inactive, though. :(
