Hi Everyone
<r3dsm0k3_>
I got my hands on the latest cubietruck A80 version recently. However, Im having a major issue in getting a webcam to work on it. Im using the board for video stream from a Logitech C920 HD camera. Camera has built in chip for encoding the feed in h264 and gives me the output. I was testing it on Beaglebone black and Raspberry Pi and it was working perfectly. On cubie, It seems like I have to do something extra to make it work, basically to get the
<r3dsm0k3_>
@ 1080p/30fps from camera. Also 1080p playback from Youtube also not working
<r3dsm0k3_>
I might be doing some very elementary mistakes, please correct me if Im wrong somewhere. Im very new to this platform.
<r3dsm0k3_>
Im running linaro on the board.
<r3dsm0k3_>
The following is the output of available formats from the camera.
<r3dsm0k3_>
Is there any tutorial or way to get the h264 feed from the camera and parse it as well with gstreamer? Please do help, I would be really grateful. Now it doesn't see m like i could take advantage of camera's encoding capabilities. :(
<r3dsm0k3_>
Thank you very much.

r3dsm0k3_: i doubt that libvdpau-sunxi will work with A80. only a few people have A80 devices yet...
<rellla>
otherwise stay calm and wait for an answer

<frop>
the xbmc one??
<rellla>
long time ago...
<frop>
pfff...and I was waiting you xbmc working on a fbdev for cubie
<frop>
...besides, joking...
<frop>
or better I would love to have one, but I guess I can do it by myself
<frop>
...but, you might know which "fb" driver I should use with the mali400

frop: i don't understand your question. what xbmc you are using? what kernel? xbmca10 is working directly on fb
<frop>
yes, but 1) you need to compile it with the right compile-option (like --with-fb)
<frop>
and 2....you could use various fb driver, in the kernel (right?)
