Quick question; I just got a cubieboard4 cc-a80 from r0ck.me; It didn't come with a power cable. The system seems to boot off of my macbook pro until just after it initializes the vga display.

Can someone confirm that the power requirements are a heck of a lot higher? I'm seeing 5v 4A which my laptop definitly doesn't provide.. Has someone else had this experience ?

Also didn't get any thermal paste for this damn thing. I'm assuming this is just r0ck.me being dicks? Anyone else have any experience with them?

you cant run it from a USB device

NO paste and GOOD contact works a lot better than paste and BAD contact
