<marex> lynxeye: hey, are you still working on the DSIM ? I am almost there
<lynxeye> marex: We didn't have time to work on it during the last weeks. Just saw you patches.
<marex> lynxeye: yeah, the big DSIM one is coming in a bit
<lynxeye> marex: are you using Michaels patches to convert it to a bridge?
<marex> lynxeye: no, link ?
<lynxeye> marex: We talked about them before: https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/11770685/
<marex> lynxeye: oh, good, I recall you mentioned them, but I wasnt aware you posted them
<lynxeye> we didn't post any of the MX8MM specific stuff, as it's still pretty rough and we wanted to sort the power-domain/blkctl stuff first, as this should get rid of most of the platform specific stuff added in the downstream driver
<marex> lynxeye: the upside is, I have something similar to that patchset in my tree too, so that saves me a bit of work, thanks

<marex> lynxeye: so yeah, that patch does basically what I was planning to do, it needs a bit of work for the mx8mm, but not much
<marex> lynxeye: thanks

<JohnnyonFlame> is there any way to measure time spent with GPU stalled on a GC860?
<austriancoder> JohnnyonFlame: maybe via perfmon by looking at hi-total-cycles and hi-idle-cycles
<JohnnyonFlame> austriancoder: that's not something I can gauge with GALLIUM_HUD I guess?
<austriancoder> you can access these values via amd performance monitor extension too
<austriancoder> my gpu load stuff is still wip
<JohnnyonFlame> ah ok, makes sense
