hey, sorry, I wanted to finish the early bird shipping first. I think I will come around to it tomorrow. Sorry it takes so long.

ack

just want to know progress :)
<esden>
yeah I feel you. I just today declined a contract offer because there is just too much on my plate. :/
<esden>
I also realized that the glasgows are too narrow for my rails on the PnP... I need to come up with some workable solution. I guess the first two boards I will just assemble by hand. And then go to a friend and make a jig that would match the boards.
<esden>
I just know that going to my friend for the jig will take pretty much the whole day. :/
<whitequark>
ohh :/

esden: you can't load them in the "other direction" ? (or even that is too narrow ?)
<esden>
I am considering it. Basically forget about the usb connector and assemble the rest. That might work and be a reasonable solution until I make proper panels.
<esden>
I will look into it tomorrow probably.

esden: there should be a gap for the USB connector, no? or do the guide rails take up too much of the edge for that to fit?

marcan: yeah I know, but it is probably still too close to the rail for comfort. It will probably get bumped or something when it is moving. At the end it is not a big deal. More important is that I can place the parts with a lot of placements to save some time building the prototypes.
<esden>
I have to learn how to rotate the coordinates correctly, I usually keep the alignment as it is in CAD. So it is a first for me in the PnP software. But it should be easy to do. :)
