<nmz787> so I think I'm spoiled in some sense, that my (not including shipping/transport) costs for my SEM and FIB are under $2k... but I really don't have budget for much more... so anyway there's this ALD (atomic layer deposition) machine that is on eBay which has "make an offer"... so I've been offering like $600, $700, $800 ... each time being rejected and counteroffered with $8k, $7k, $5k...
<nmz787> but I honestly don't know if all the pieces are present, nor what the 'new' cost would have been
<nmz787> someone told me an ALD might start at $40k... and can go to the millions depending on if you want it for production-level use, not research
<Noxz> better to have the counter offers.. I had automatic rejections on my last offer sequence
<Noxz> even up to 95%
